Our Impact

Skin health should not be a privilege. Neither should the support that surrounds it.

Orlena Skin exists at the intersection of clinical skin science and whole-body wellness. That position carries a responsibility we take seriously.

Maternal health is personal to the future of Orlena because pregnancy, postpartum recovery, hormonal change, and caregiving can reshape the way women experience their bodies, their skin, and their access to support. Too often, mothers are expected to keep going while their own care becomes secondary.

Our impact commitment is focused on maternal health, specifically on the gap between the clinical resources available to women during and after pregnancy and the support most of them actually receive.

Why Maternal Health

Pregnancy and the postpartum period are among the most significant physiological events a body can undergo. They affect the skin in ways that are real, documented, and consistently undertreated: melasma, barrier disruption, postpartum hormonal acne, heightened sensitivity, and changes in wound healing and collagen density.

At the same time, new mothers are frequently told to deprioritize their own health. Wellness resources, clinical guidance, and access to safe, effective skincare are disproportionately unavailable during one of the moments when they matter most. This is the gap we are working within.

What This Means in Practice

Clinical Education for Maternal Skin Health

We produce and publish clinically grounded information on skin changes during pregnancy and postpartum, ingredient safety for pregnant and nursing mothers, and protocol-based approaches to common maternal skin concerns. This content is free and publicly accessible through The Deep Dive.

Safe Product Transparency

Every Orlena product includes clear guidance on suitability during pregnancy and the postpartum period. We do the clinical work on ingredient safety so that mothers do not have to piece it together from unreliable sources.

Charitable Giving

A portion of Orlena Skin proceeds supports organizations working to improve maternal health access and outcomes, with priority given to those addressing perinatal wellness, maternal mental health, and clinical care access for underserved mothers.

As Orlena grows, maternal skin health and postpartum wellness will remain a core part of our education, product transparency, and giving strategy.
